Amazon and ecommerce in general have completely disrupted the last mile : from ordering products to getting those products delivered. But the first mile in the supply chain, where the product is actually produced, hasnt changed in over a hundred years. In spite of that, its value is immense and only keeps growing. Fashion manufacturing alone is a 1.2Tn space.
Were building an on:demand manufacturing platform that meets the needs of the 21st century and a social media economy. We bootstrapped our way to a 15M run rate and just closed a 10M Series A with a top:tier Silicon Valley VC. We believe we can create enormous value and literally change the world by making manufacturing accessible to everyone.
Our company is hiring game:changing technology and supply chain experts for both our Los Angeles and Bay Area offices.

The Role
The Senior VP of Sales will report directly into the CEO, manage our existing team of 3 salespeople and grow that team. While we already have product market fit, we need a VP of Sales who is nimble enough to go with our sales team on meetings, learn from our sales team and customers and then communicate the challenges and opportunities they see to our marketing, product and operations team.
Your customers will be fashion brands and licensed product distributors. Once youve developed an understanding of tier business models and needs, your role will shift to creating a scalable sales infrastructure based around that profile.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and tactical and will have entrepreneurial leadership experience backed by a proven record of success in growing early stage revenues.

Responsibilities
:
Develop annual sales plans along with the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve system and goals
:
Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
:
Oversee integration of CRM
:
Manage both our enterprise sales team as well as our call center sales team
:
Monitor market activity and provide feedback and recommendations to executive team
:
Compile and review quantitative sales data and react rapidly to changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities
:
Work with our marketing team to leverage core product messaging and content
:
Work with our product team to provide customer feedback loop
:
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
:
Develops and assists with new sales leads
:
Develops sales proposals and presentations

Requirements
:
Bachelors degree required, advanced degree a plus
:
Minimum of 5+ years in sales
leadership/management role, managing 5 or more direct reports
:
Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning, sales, business and market development, market research and planning, and
promotions/advertising
:
Strong organizational and time management abilities that allow projects and goals to be completed on time
:
Experience utilizing CRM tools to create and leverage advantages
:
Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills
:
Excellent leadership skills and ability to be a mentor
:
Professional presence and ability to work with large, global customers
:
Must work effectively with senior:level management and executives
