We are looking for a Director of Mobile Engineering, to join our team to provide leadership, vision, direction, and support -- both technically and developmentally. You will lead a team of developers who are building the next generation of mobile experiences across NFL Mobile and NFL Fantasy.

Essential Functions:

* You love engaging and collaborating with stakeholders, both inside and outside engineering. You seek to integrate yourself and your team deeply into the company and its goals.

* You love scale, it isn't just satisfying to get the project done, you want to make the next project easier.

* You have a deep understanding of customer needs and competitive landscape; able to estimate impact of and help lead efforts that significantly change product roadmap and footprint; plans and leads implementation efforts for major redesign, refactoring, and optimization efforts

* Well versed in real-time networking, mobile network issues, concurrency and threading

* Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases

* Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs

* Experience writing unit tests and testable code
