PeopleReady- We are currently recruiting for skilled Metal Sorter (temporary to hire) opportunities within the city of Los Angeles, 90021

Pay rate: $18-$20 (DOE)- 7am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday

**Upon review your assigned recruiter will reach out for a phone screening. Background and Drug Screening will be required. Must have be able to lift 50+ pounds, work independently, inside and outside working environment. Steel toe boots a MUST, hard hat, gloves, safety glasses will be provided. Identify and sort metals using Niton gun: Inconel Titanium and Nickel.

MUST HAVE 1 to 3 years of experience as a high temp alloy sorter
1. Inspects metal scraps of all sizes for cleanliness and necessary processing.
2. Visually inspect metal scraps to determine alloy type.
3. Sorts materials into proper categories.
4. Needs to know how to make reports, accurately record and document work performed.
5. Needs to know simple math.
6. Needs to have knowledge using a Niton gun.
7. Meets all quality standards.
8. Must meet all production and quality standards per department standards.
9. Safely operate all equipment and tools.
10. Must comply with all applicable safety requirements, policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Must participate in required training, medical monitoring, safety and health evaluations and programs.
11. Performs other tasks as directed.
12. Must be able to operate forklift
13. Must be able to lift light weight metals
