Here’s what our students and their parents are saying about Hollywood Academy of Music (http://www.hollywoodacademyofmusic.com):

I am so thrilled with the instruction my son is receiving from the studio. I find it astounding that each child receives such individualized guidance, because it is very important in teaching to be open to what each child brings to the table in order to help them blossom. I am so grateful that this is happening for my son.
~ Leah Nall

I have taken guitar lessons for many years and from many instructors, but I've found these lessons to be the most rewarding. I've learned a tremendous amount in areas covering technique, improvisation, scales, music theory, songwriting, and live performance. The environment is relaxed and fun, but structured with explicit weekly goals that ensure you're getting where you want to be.
~ James Lee

From the very start, my lessons have been tailored to my personal abilities, interests, and musical tastes...not to mention being lots of fun! The regular recitals provide something to work towards and are wonderful opportunities to perform in front of others. I highly recommend Hollywood Academy of Music to music lovers of all ages!

"The Drum Teacher's FREE Advice"

posted: November 23, 2009, 08:43 AM

Replyivosplash@yahoo.com

If you are a drummer and you have a problem, issue, dilemma, etc....with your playing, technique, reading - now you can email me with your question and I will help you find the best way for you to deal with your situation for FREE. This includes odd time signatures, tuning, studio tips, click issues (on top of the beat, on the beat, behind the beat) ,stage fright, no focus, lack of creativity and anything that is stopping you from being the drummer you wanna be.
This is a FREE service and there is NO BS. It works like that:
You email me with your question-I help you out with it and we move on. You get to be a better drummer and I get you to know my name as the guy who helped you out. We both win. If you wanna study with me after that - great. If not you can feel free to contact me and ask me again should you run into another problem - this is not a one time thing.
I have done this before and it really works because sometime all we need is "that one thing" to put us back on the right track and get us rolling.

My reason for doing this is simple (just being honest): I am new to town and I wanna let the drummer community know that I can actually help and have you see and hear for yourself the difference I can make in your playing by doing what I say I will do and not just talk about it.
RESULTS are the only thing that matters and everything else is just an empty promises.
So here is your chance to get better and find out if you are realy serious about your playing.

I played and studied drums for over 35 years and was one of the top teachers at Seattle Drum School and Creative Music Adventures - the top music schools in the Northwest - with more than 350 students in the past 7 years alone and I hope that I can help you be a better drummer.

WARNING: Everything I suggest and recommend will require work on your part. So if you are looking for a magic pill, short cut, a trick that will make you better overnight, please don't waste my time and let me spend my time helping drummers who want to get better because they love what they do and understand what it takes to master their instrument.

ANNAMERCURY, band begins live shows in November 2009 and CD release debuts!!!

Press Release:

ANNAMERCURY

Marinated together in early 2009 as the 5 member band like blending choice seasoned spices in a culinary treasure to create rock music for the world. Although, initially each member helms from different corners of the west region of the United States. They met and formed the band while living in Seattle, WA after a consistent time of artistically crossing paths. The underlining unspoken message the men want to say with their music is: “From the basement, to all the listening and visual audiences everywhere this is for you”.

“AM” (AnnAMercury) is comprised of Brady singing lead vocals, Jeff playing drums, Robin strumming the bass, with guitars being laced by both Pete and Ryan. All five share a mutual inner passion for music and a quiet determination to be as good as they possibly can be. The music that the band chooses to create is original in nature with a savory rock-n-roll flavor. And each member contributes by drawing on their own musical backgrounds in a combination of ways to make the songs happen.

After only seven months in the making the band is currently working on finishing its first songs to be recorded as an EP late summer in the legendary London Bridge Studio. Also, be sure to look for the band to begin their live public performances this coming November 2009 with much fanfare debut.

EP release date is scheduled for November 15th 2009...You don't want to miss it! Checkout and follow the band at: (www.myspace.com/annamercurylive) & (www.reverbnation.com/annamercury)

Thank you,
ANNAMERCURY

In association with MATCH 1 Entertainment ***SPECIAL BONUS: Download new songs from the EP release available at Amazon on 11/15/09 (www.amazon.com)

I recently moved from Ohio to LA (but will be relocating to S.Barbara by Jan 1). I'm 31, have been playing drums since I was 2, playing gigs for the last 16 years. Looking for a working band to gig and/or record with. Some of my session work can be found on my myspace page http://myspace.com/chuckhammelmusic
I can play rock, blues, country, reggae, jazz, ect... but rock is my forte. Have played in many cover bands over the years, so learning material is usually not a problem. As much as I love to jam, please only contact me if you are serious (already have, or will soon have steady, paying gigs).
Contact me if you are interested or want more info about me.
